Student News SLC 5

It’s been a busy Term 4 for our students, from choosing and completing projects for our ‘Belmore Day Out’ to enjoying the ‘End-of-Year’ celebrations (huge thanks to our SRC for organising them). SLC5 students worked hard while having fun.
Highlights included: rehearsing to make slime and bubble painting for our ‘Belmore Day Out’ event; meeting some of the fluffiest animals in the petting zoo during our ‘End-of-Year’ celebrations; helping with classroom jobs, recycling, collecting library books, decorating a Christmas tree; and taking turns with friends when playing board games/PE activities.
While students enjoyed themselves and worked hard, they followed our school values this semester: ‘Be Your Best’ and ‘Be Respectful’. Students showed respect for the school’s and classroom’s equipment by using it properly and patiently waiting their turn when working or playing with their peers. They demonstrated their best by completing activities and independently trying new ones.
