Celebrations and Acclamations 

  • Primary SS - Thank you to Gail, Tanya and Saffron who I have spotted packing away our bikes in PG2. All our tasks, big or small, make such a difference.
  • Middle SS -  Shout out to Will and Edan from Room 15 for their excellent demonstation of respectfully raising and lowering the flags when we received new flags last week from the local federal member Mr Basem Abdo. 
  • Secondary SS - Thank you to Juri, Karla, Simone and Will for supporting the Future Ready students on camp. It was great to have such an amazing team to ensure our students stay safe and enjoy camp. 
  • Senior Secondary SS - Thank you to Vanessa, Cathie and Gurminder for their dedication at camp and ensuring that Graduate student created the best memories in their last school camp. Thank you Vicki D for stepping in and supporting the sub school during Karen's absence.
  • Learning Specialists -  Thanks to all staff who supported students at Blackwood Camp. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved, and your time, care, and enthusiasm helped make it such a positive and memorable week for our students
  • OH&S -Sally McKerchar – for her ongoing support when first aid is required. Sally’s dedication to ensuring the wellbeing of others is greatly appreciated. Thankyou Sally!
  • Therapy -  A massive “THANK YOU “to all the JSA staff that I’ve met so far for making me feel so welcome and excited to be a part of the team! I can tell already how much you care for each other and our students! From Amanda Truong (Speech Pathologist). 
  • Wellbeing - We would like to acknowledge the amazing patience of Alexie Galgano (Room 13) when supporting a student with complex needs in her classroom. Her work in this space has been exceptional. Thank you Alexie!
  • Admin -A huge shout out to KK in finance for his continued support and guidance to staff around budgets for 2026.   Your support is very much appreciated by staff. 
  • PCT- Thank you to Irene for her support with enrolments for 2026. She has carefully considered all the movement through the sub schools and it's been really easy for us to plan for not just the new prep / foundation students but we can also anticipate any vacancies throughout the school. 
  • Each year we recognise any staff that have significant DE service awards and in Term 4, we will acknowledge these staff at the curriculum day on 3 November 2025.  If you or someone you know has a 20 years or 25 years service with DE, please let Michelle or I know.  The Department of Education recognise employees with 30 years service and above.
