Our Prep Mathematicians!

This semester in Prep, our clever mathematicians have been busy exploring numbers in lots of fun ways! We’ve been practising our number bonds to 10 using numicon, discovering all the different ways we can make 10. We’ve also been learning about subtraction, using counters, cubes and drawings to show how numbers get smaller when we take some away.

Lately, we’ve been investigating data, collecting information about our class - like favourite colours and answering simple questions based on the data collected. Prep students have shown amazing curiosity, creativity and teamwork during maths time. We are so proud of our little mathematicians!
