2025 Technologies Student of the Year

In Week 10 of Term 3, the Technologies Department hosted the annual Technologies Student of the Year awards, featuring a refreshed format and expanded number of categories of recognition. This year, we introduced new awards including the People’s Choice Award, generously sponsored by the Mazenod Old Boys Association (MOB), and the Principal/Rector Awards, kindly supported by Mr Harvey and Fr Twigg, which recognised overall winners and runners-up across each Technologies subject area.

We extend our sincere thanks to all students who submitted work, and to the staff, parents, and community members who attended and supported the event. The standard of work was exceptional.

I’d like to thank Mazenod old boy Adam Gibson (Class of 2004), Director of New Leaf Gallery in Bickley, for supplying the beautiful timber used in several student woodwork projects. New Leaf Gallery will open its workshop on the weekend of 28–30 November and warmly invites all to explore its range of timber materials available for purchase.
