                                                     Welcome to Term 3, everyone!

To start the term, we have done a delicious book tasting! Don't worry, we haven't been eating any books...

A book tasting is a great activity for exploring different types of books and really honing in on what we like to read about. It is a fantastic way to dive head first into different genres and themes of many amazing stories all at once!

To begin, we went around the room having a look at many different types of books. Instead of a clear and clean desk, our tables were covered with a multitude of books, as well as paper that told us what genre these books belonged to.

After exploring all these different types of books, we needed to rate them and let our friends and teachers know what we thought of our books. There were so many to choose from, and we even got the chance to find genres we did not like! Now we know what books we want to read!
