What's been happening this week?

EMMETT AND DARIAH IN JAPAN

Dariah and Emmett are currently in Japan representing  BHNPs, Victoria and Australia as the Australian Junior Ambassadors at the Asia Pacific Children’s Convention in Japan. They departed Melbourne on Friday, July 12. They spent 3 days at a summer camp with 200 11-year-old children from across the world. They are now experiencing Japanese life with their host families and attending their host sibling’s primary school.

EXPLORING PATTERNS

The Year 1/2 students have been busy exploring patterns for Maths.  We created patterns using colours, shapes and numbers.

They used their knowledge and creativity to design and make their own friendship bracelets with different coloured patterns. It was lots of fun!

STEM FUN!

Our grade 3s and 4s gave been working hard at applying their knowledge of push/pull forces to Olympic sports including archery, javelin, shot put and rowing.
