This award is presented to Alaya for always showing the Scoresby HEART values. Alaya is a good friend to others and always tries her hardest with her work. Keep up all the great things you are doing Alayah and always believe in yourself!
This award goes to Violet for her wonderful Procedural Writing ‘How to draw a cat ice-cream’. Violet used verbs, positional language and time connectives to instruct her reader to create a picture. She worked hard to complete her first draft this week and made sure to include lots of details to guide her reader. Well done Violet on your amazing effort!
This award goes to Caleb for the great active listening he has used during mini lessons this week. Caleb is looking at the teacher and watching the examples he is being shown. He is raising his hand to answer questions and sharing some great understandings. This great listening has helped him to better understand what to do when he returns to his table. Keep it up Caleb!
This award goes to Jesse for displaying the Scoresby HEART value of Excellence. In Writing, he has worked hard drafting and revising an amazing narrative. Jesse remembered to include characters, a setting, a problem and a solution. Keep up the great work, Jesse!
This award goes to Beaux in recognition of the resilience he showed when trying new things this week, working hard until he succeeded. Beaux was also a fabulous help to Ms Dal in the classroom. Great work Beaux!

This award goes to Piper for her exceptional effort in Writing. Piper wrote a wonderfully crafted narrative titled ‘Work It Out’, where she thoughtfully developed her ideas and brought her characters to life as different animals. Piper, your word choice was superb, and the way you creatively engaged your audience in the conclusion was remarkable. Well done, Piper! I am so proud to be your teacher this year.
