FareShare Excursion
On Monday 22nd July our VM Personal Development students attended Fare Share Kitchen as part of our unit on Community.
The students provided much needed nourishment and peace of mind for less fortunate people in our community.
While they were there, they:
- Assembled 720 beef and mushroom stew and rice meals
- Trayed up 120 chickens for roasting
- Decanted 40L stuffed chillies
- Trayed up 100kg of tomatoes for roasting
- Cleaned and reset the kitchen
It was such an amazing day, watching our students working so wonderfully with inspirational people. We loved it so much we will be returning on 5th August for another session of cooking, cleaning and creating!
