VOCABULARY

Summarise: Telling the most important parts of the text, in your own words, in a much shorter way. 

Main Idea: The most important point or message the author wants to share.

Concise: Short and to the point.

Read an information text from your satchel or others you have at home (books, websites, magazines).

Practise giving a verbal summary to someone at home. Make sure your summary is clear and concise. You can use the IVTB strategy to support you.
