Dear Parents and Friends,
Thank you again for your understanding with our closure day last Monday. As you are aware we have been and will continue to work closely with Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) staff and the hygienist. We will continue to follow their direction with the removal of the materials. I am aware that communication from me on Monday was not received initially. This was due to a technical rollover which needs to occur at the beginning of each semester.
I apologise for any problems this caused on Monday last week.
Currently we are waiting on quotes from specialists to come through with a timeline for the removal of the material. Once this has been finalised, I will further communicate when this will take place and any other relevant information.
With our change of entry, there are a lot more vehicles parking on Church Street. A reminder that there is a bus zone on the school side of Church Street, which needs to be clear at all times.
Our temporary office is in the downstairs corridor, near the art room. A reminder that students need to be signed in and out by an adult if late/ leaving early or attending an appointment. If you are not sure where we are your child will lead you in the right direction or give us a call. Feel free to pop in and say hi!
Our Foundation and Year One students have done a great job with swimming thus far this week. Their organisation and efforts in the pool are to be commended. Thanks to those parents who have been able to help.
Good luck to Eve and Issy who are representing the school at the Lions Club Public Speaking Club level competition this Sunday. They will compete against students from other local schools.
Congratulations to our Year 4/5/6 students who participated in the Winter Sports Carnival in Wodonga last week. The dedication and focus put into practice sessions in the lead up to this event clearly paid off, with our Netball, Soccer and Hockey teams all coming home winners!
Late this term we will be holding our annual Trivia Night. A call out to any parents who would like to assist in organising this event. Many hands make light work! Please get in touch if you would like to assist with organising this event.
