Celebrating Diversity: Pride Month

At our school we are proud of the way we acknowledge, celebrate, and educate diversity. Symbolically this is reflected in our Statement of Respect of Diversity. Universally it is reflected in the way we act, think, and carry ourselves every day.

Tomorrow, students and community members are invited to wear a splash of colour as our school celebrates diversity with Pride Month and our annual day. This year's theme is ‘Celebrating the U in unique’.

Across the school, students will engage in age-appropriate learning focusing on celebrating themselves and acknowledging the personal qualities and strengths that make them special! 

The day is set to be a great complement to the ongoing learning students do in class relative to the Respectful Relationships Curriculum.
