Term Three is a busy term in the library with lots of events and activities happening. Mark the following dates in your calendars!

Book of the Year Announcements 16th August

The Children’s Book Council of Australia will announce the winners of the 2024 Book of the Year Awards.

Book Week 19th – 23rd August

Book Week is a national event organised by The Children’s Book Council of Australia to promote the importance of children’s literacy and is celebrated by all schools and libraries. There will be craft activities held each lunchtime in the library for all students to enjoy.

Scholastic Book Fair 2nd – 6th September

Our annual Book Fair will be held outside the library in the Gym foyer all week. There will be hundreds of children’s fiction, non-fiction, and activity books for sale.

Book Week Dress Up Day Friday 6th September

All students are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. Our annual Book Week Dress Up day will take place a little later this year and will coincide with our Book Fair.

Premiers' Reading Challenge official closing date 6th September

All books must be entered on to the website no later than Friday 30th August in preparation for the official closing date on 6th September.
