Class 15

Class 15 have enjoyed a fantastic term 1. We have had a huge focus on improving our speaking and listening skills by visiting the Dromana College canteen every Monday afternoon to buy our lunch. Chicken nuggets and chocolate milk have been highly sought after.
In numeracy, we have used an interactive calendar on the smartboard to update important events, while calculators have been a great addition to the learning space. In science, plastic bottle rockets have been launched off the ground using vinegar and bicarb soda, and we also observed the chemical reaction that occurs when a dozen mentos are dropped into a coke bottle.
Our graduating students have been busy shoveling mulch into wheelbarrows, while the year 9s and 10s have washed cars, cleaned windows and swept cobwebs. We have learnt how to count in Italian and got our groove on during weekly dance lessons. Friendships have been formed, and it is great to hear that some of our students have been catching up on weekends.
Thank you for a wonderful term 1 class 15, enjoy your break!
