Class 7

Wow – we can’t believe Term 1 has already come to an end! It’s been a fantastic and busy start to the year, filled with learning, new friendships, and lots of fun along the way.
We’ve really enjoyed getting to know all the students in our class. Everyone has settled in beautifully, and it’s been wonderful to see them becoming more confident with classroom routines and diving into their learning tasks with enthusiasm.
One of the highlights this term was our swimming program. Twice a week, we headed off to the pool, and what a great experience it was! The students did an amazing job listening to the instructors, trying their best, and showing bravery – especially when jumping into the deep end! While some were a little nervous at first, their confidence quickly grew, and many couldn’t wait to do it again and again.
In our science lessons, we explored the forces of Push and Pull. We were amazed to realise just how often we use these forces every day without even thinking about it! We also investigated volcanoes and discovered how they can dramatically change the Earth's surface. Plus, we learned all about the Water Cycle and how it keeps moving in an endless loop – fascinating stuff! We explored how water falls from clouds when they become heavy by creating our own cloud in a jar.
It’s been a term full of discovery and growth, and we’re so proud of how much everyone has achieved already. We’re excited to see what Term 2 brings and can’t wait for more learning adventures ahead!
