MPPS Student Values Awards
Students who have demonstrated our school values (Respect, Kindness, Gratitude) are selected from each cohort to receive an award certificate and our new Values wristband to wear to school each day. The students receive this award at a cohort assembly that is conducted twice per term.
Well done to the children below who recieved our new Values award.
Prep
Will ~ What a brilliant first term Will has had in Prep B! Will is consistently respectful to his teachers and peers, always listening attentively, following instructions, and treating everyone with kindness. He is polite and always uses his manners, saying "please" and "thank you" without needing reminders. Will is very inclusive, ensuring that everyone around him feels heard and valued. Whether it’s inviting a classmate to join a game, patiently waiting his turn, or encouraging others during group activities, he makes sure no one is left out. He shows respect by taking care of classroom materials, tidying up after himself, and handling books and resources with care. Will cares deeply about his learning, always trying his best and showing perseverance when faced with challenges. His positive attitude and thoughtful actions make him a role model in Prep B. Well done, Will!
Archita~ Archita has always been eager to learn in French, showing our school values from day 1! She is friendly and consistently shows respect to her peers and teachers. She always likes to sit at the front of the class and seeks out extra work to challenge herself. She is a shining example of our values at MPPS. Féliciations Archita !
Sacha ~ Sacha radiates kindness! He always has a warm smile on his face, bringing joy to his peers. Sacha is a kind friend to all. displays great thoughtfulness not just to his friends. Your humour, thoughtfulness and true kindness make you a valued member of Prep A, we are so lucky to have you in our class! Well done!
Rose ~ Rosie has had a fantastic first term in Prep A! She is a wonderful role model for her peers. Rosie consistently shows gratitude through her words and actions. She always says “thank you” with a warm smile when someone helps her. Rosie’s beautiful manners extend to her consistent helping of her friends in the classroom. Rosie always has a wonderfully positive attitude when approaching a new task, or helping others. We are so lucky to have you in Prep A, Rosie! Well done!
Year 1/2
Casper ~ The Respect award is presented to a student who consistently demonstrates respect in all they say and do. Casper leads by example, treating peers, teachers, and the school community with fairness and consideration. When others need help, Casper is always one of the first to volunteer his time and effort. Casper shows respect for our school environment, keeping the classroom tidy and looking after school equipment. Casper loves to learn, and is especially respectful during learning time. He listens to teachers thoughtfully, and contributes to lessons with interesting ideas. In all learning areas, he completes tasks to the best of his ability, seeking extensions and challenges to stretch his brain. When he notices others who might be unsure, he explains things quietly so they can get back on track. In pairs or small groups, he listens to everyone’s ideas equally, ensuring everybody has a fair turn. Congratulations, Casper. Thank you for making our school a better place.
Jack ~ Jack demonstrates kindness towards all members of our school community. He thinks about the feelings of others and asks people if they need help. Jack looks for people who may need a friend and includes them in his games and class tasks. Jack uses kind words and encourages others to be their best selves. Jack is a great role model to everyone. Well done, Jack!
Eliza~ Eliza consistently exemplifies gratitude in every aspect of her daily interactions. Whether in the classroom, during group activities, or in one-on-one conversations, she makes it a point to acknowledge the efforts of others. Eliza always thanks her peers for assistance, whether it's a group project or a simple act of kindness. She also regularly expresses appreciation to teachers, showing gratitude for their support. What truly sets Eliza apart is the thoughtfulness and sincerity behind her gratitude. It is a genuine recognition of the positive impact others have on her. Eliza’s gratitude extends beyond the classroom. She is often seen encouraging and supporting classmates, ensuring everyone feels valued and included. This nurturing attitude creates an environment where kindness and appreciation thrive, making Eliza a positive role model for others. Her consistent display of gratitude has fostered a sense of community and respect among their peers, making them truly deserving of this award. Eliza, you are a shining star!
William ~ Thank you Will, for being the thoughtful, kind and considerate person that you are! It makes my day extra special when I hear you cheerfully call out ‘morning Tracey’ across the playground and give me a little wave.
I also really appreciate your can-do attitude in the classroom and recognise your creative enthusiasm during art activities. You are an inspiration to your peers and extremely helpful towards your classmates - offering advice, demonstrating ideas and leading by example. You are always keen to lend a hand and get stuck in! Congratulations Will, it is a pleasure to acknowledge your enthusiasm for learning and kindness to all.
Olive ~ Olive is a wonderfully friendly student in our French class, making everyone feel welcome and supported. We are so lucky to have you in French class, Olive! Her warm, appreciative nature is an inspiration to all to show compassion and gratitude daily. Féliciations Olive!
Year 3/4
Jack ~ Jack has been recognised by the office as being a student who consistently displays our school value of Respect.
Jack comes to the office daily to drop off the class watches. He always greets the staff politely and uses his manners. Jack is extremely respectful of our team and is a delight to talk to.
Finn ~ Finn has been recognised by the office as being a student who consistently displays our school value of Respect.
When Finn comes to the office, which is most days (to drop off the class watches), He greets the staff politely and always uses his manners. Finn is very respectful of our team and is a delight to talk to.
Jordyn ~ Jordyn is always very respectful to the ES team. She will often help tidy the garden room, even when not her mess. She shows respect to the whole ES team. A pleasure to have at MPPS. Jordyn is often seeing demonstrating our school values around the school. Keep it up. Thank you Jordyn.
Arjun ~ Arjun consistently demonstrates respect through politeness, good manners, and fairness. He shows respect to other people, to the environment and to his own and others’ possessions. His thoughtful actions, considerate words, and positive example make our school a better place.
Congratulations, Arjun! You are a wonderful role model.
Beth ~ Beth is a caring and compassionate student who consistently demonstrates kindness to those around her. Whether it's offering a helping hand to classmates struggling with their work or providing comfort to those who are feeling sad or upset, Beth always knows how to make others feel better. Her empathetic nature shines through in every interaction, and she is always there to offer support when needed. Beth's genuine concern for others and her ability to brighten someone's day with her kindness makes her a wonderful role model for her peers. She truly embodies the spirit of compassion and is deserving of this award for her unwavering kindness.
Heidi ~ Heidi is a student who truly exemplifies gratitude in everything she does. She consistently shows appreciation for the help and support she receives, always expressing her thanks with a smile. Whether it’s thanking others for their kindness or showing appreciation for the little things, Heidi’s grateful attitude is evident in her actions and words. She understands the importance of acknowledging the efforts of those around her, making her a thoughtful and considerate member of the class. Heidi’s consistent display of gratitude makes her a wonderful role model, and she is a very deserving recipient of this award.
Year 5/6
Bonnie ~ Bonnie is a shining example of Respect in our Middle Park Primary School community. An active listener, Bonnie is consistently attentive to her teachers and peers, always responding thoughtfully. She lends a hand to anyone who may need and often helps others without needing to be asked. Bonnie's actions inspire those around her to be considerate and polite, creating a welcoming and positive environment for all. Whether in the classroom, in the yard, or around the school, Bonnie demonstrates the power of respect through her words and actions every day. We are proud to recognize her for setting such a wonderful example of our school value of Respect!
Cleo ~ Cleo’s kindness is evident from the moment she walks into the classroom each morning. She is one of the first to offer assistance to her teacher or peers in need, and often takes the initiative to be kind without others asking — a shining example of how we should all demonstrate kindness at MPPS. Cleo’s ability to be caring and show a positive attitude demonstrates her as a great year five role model. Well done, Cleo. We are lucky to have you at our school!
Sophie ~ Sophie has shown an immense sense of gratitude towards her learning this year. She consistently arrives to class with a bright smile and a positive attitude, not only towards her own learning but also toward those around her. She is always kind and respectful to her teachers and classmates, appreciating their support and contributions. Sophie listens attentively, gives her best effort, seeks help when needed and is always well mannered and appreciative of that support. Sophie should be extremely proud of her well deserved recognition. Well done!
