Teddy Bear’s Picnic 

We had a fabulous Teddy Bear’s Picnic Day last week. The students enjoyed bringing their special teddy with them to school and completing activities which included biscuit decorating. They enjoyed a walk to Federation Park and played on the equipment after eating lunch with their teddies.  

Thank you for a fabulous term! We cannot believe the term is over and how the children have done such fabulous learning getting to know new friends and following routines. In the 39 school days we have had, the children have learnt 6 sounds and have begun to read and write three letter words using these sounds. We are so very proud of them. Please continue to practice the sounds with your child and read the ‘Words to sound out and read at home’ page. Please note that we will learn the sounds for /f/ and /r/ in the first week back next term.
