VTAC PATHWAY PLANNING:

What is a Pathway?

Pathways are study options that usually use your success in a lower discipline to move into a course of a higher discipline, usually in the same area of study.

Pathway studies allow you to discover your interest in a specific area and gain qualifications as you progress.

Pathway preferences:

It’s always worth adding pathway courses to your preference list!

You should always list your courses in the order you want to study them, and pathway courses often come below dream courses.

Adding pathway courses increases your chance of receiving offers and starting your higher education journey.

Remember that change of preference opens between each offer round so you can edit your preference list and add pathway courses as an option.

INSPIRING YOUNG PEOPLE LUNCH 2025:

This invite only event provided students with valuable insights into various career paths, providing them with the opportunity to engage with mentors from different professional backgrounds.

Students were able to ask their mentors questions, engage in meaningful conversations, and learn about their career pathway, including the challenges they may have faced along the way and how these situations became a valuable part of their learning and career journey.
