Buddies Day - Term 4

What an amazing day we had for our Buddies Day celebration! 

The school was buzzing with excitement as students from Prep to Year 4 joined together in mixed-age groups to take part in a range of fun and engaging activities — all proudly led by our Year 5 students.

Our Year 5 leaders embraced the responsibility with enthusiasm, guiding their groups with confidence, care, and teamwork. They planned activities, supported younger students, and helped make sure everyone felt included. It was wonderful to see them step into leadership roles and demonstrate what it means to be positive role models within our school community.

Year 4 students also had a special opportunity to shine, acting as buddy mentors for our Prep students. Their kindness, patience, and encouragement helped our youngest learners feel safe, supported, and excited to join in. Many Preps looked up to their Year 4 buddies throughout the day, and the friendships formed were lovely to watch.

Across the school, students enjoyed crafts, games, problem-solving challenges, and team-building tasks. Laughter, cooperation, and encouragement could be seen in every corner of the playground and classrooms.

Buddies Day was a wonderful reminder of the strength of our school community. By working together, learning from one another, and celebrating leadership at every level, our students created a day filled with joy, connection, and pride.
