End of School Year Mass
Yesterday morning we celebrated the school year with our final Mass. Our School Captains for 2025 passed the light to next years School Captians in our traditional candle ceremony.
A big thank you to our Church Captains for their wonderful work supporting and helping us celebrate our Masses throughout the year. Their leadership and service have been greatly appreciated.
2026 Parish Lunch
Last Friday we hosted the St Mary’s Parish Lunch with a gathering of over 50 parishioners coming together to share a beautifully prepared roast lunch from Aunty Annie’s Hotel in Flemington. The highlight of the day was the Year 5 students, who delighted everyone with a heartfelt Christmas carol that brought extra festive cheer. A huge thank you goes to our wonderful parent helpers, whose generosity and hard work made the event run smoothly and created a truly welcoming atmosphere for all.
St Mary’s Giving Tree
Thank you to all the families who have supported the St Mary’s Giving Tree for 2026. We look forward to presenting the vouchers to Bill from St. Vincent de Paul at Monday’s Nativity Liturgy. Thank you to our Year 5 students for organising the Giving Tree each morning.
St Mary's Feast Day Celebrations
St Mary’s Feast Day was a joyful celebration for our school community. Students enjoyed a wonderful morning of activities exploring the different titles of Mary and learning more about her special role in our faith. The day began with a special assembly, where students learnt how Mary was an important part of God’s plan. Students then relaxed and enjoyed watching The Star, a Nativity movie that beautifully shared the Christmas story.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a safe holiday break.
I look forward to seeing you all in 2026.
