Foundation - Year Two Athletics Day
In Week Nine our Foundation to Year Two students came together for a big day of Athletic events.
Our students showed great encouragement, collaboration and lots of team spirit as they competed in athletic events. From lightning-quick sprints to soaring high jumps, our young athletes showcased their talents and enthusiasm. The air buzzed with excitement as friends, classmates, and competitors cheered each other on during thrilling races, relays, and challenging field events.
Congratulations to all of the students who participated in our Athletics Day. A big shoutout to all of the parents and teachers who supported and competed in the day.
Volleyball
This term in PE the Year Three to Six students have been learning the basic skills of Volleyball. We have been focusing on the passing skills, being ‘a dig, set and spike’, along with learning how to move for the ball and serve. We have also focused on learning the rules and the scoring system. The Year Four and Five cohorts were lucky enough to have coaches from Volleyball Victoria come in to teach us the skills and play matches.
Cricket Team
Congratulations to our Year Six mixed cricket team and Mr D’Souza who progressed to the Regional finals in Week Seven. All students showed great teamwork and determination throughout the day.
Hoop Time
A huge congratulations to our Junior Girls Hoop Time Team for competing at the recent State Basketball Finals. All our players showed great sportsmanship and teamwork, coming away with some wins.
