Forest – Wiin House Captain
Do you have any highlights from 2025?
Definitely my first assembly and becoming friends with the other house captains. I feel it gave me a sense of belonging and achievement.
What has been the best thing about being House Captain?
Meeting new people and probably having a sense of leadership/ belonging in our ENPS community.
Did you learn any new skills being a captain?
I really think it helped me become a role model and way more principled, conscious, understanding and respect.
What advice could you offer to the 2026 ENPS House Captains?
(If possible you would love to talk to them in person!) but I would say: focus on being role models using kindness, respect, and responsibility. Actively listen to all students to bring their voices forward, work collaboratively with staff and other captains on events (like assemblies, house activities, fundraising) to boost school spirit and develop your own leadership by asking questions, showing empathy, and learning from effort, making it about serving the school community, not just yourselves. :)
Have your schooling years at ENPS prepared you for the future?
The school has made me a leader and I will carry that skill throughout high school where I may become a house/school captain again (except this time with experience).
Can you sum up 2025 in 5 words?
Hectic, change, friends, leaders, memorable.
Do you have any advice for our 2026 Foundation students?
Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and remember friends aren't just your BFFs they're kids like you that will shape your life and comfort you through your journey.
What will you miss most about ENPS?
I will miss everything. From friends to teachers and sessions to classrooms. Everything that has ever happened I will miss. A big moment I will cherish and miss forever is being a captain of our school.
