Community Day at Seymour College

On Monday, 24th March, Seymour College proudly hosted a vibrant and interactive Community Day, aimed at strengthening connections between local agencies and our school community. The event was a wonderful opportunity for our Secondary School students to engage with a variety of local organisations and learn more about the wide range of services, programs, and support available to them.

Held during lunchtime, Community Day transformed our campus into a hub of information and inspiration. Representatives from local agencies were on hand to share valuable insights, answer questions, and highlight the programs they offer—from career pathways and vocational opportunities to mental health support and youth services. The open format encouraged students to explore, engage, and broaden their understanding of what is available to support their well-being and future goals.

We extend our sincere thanks to all the organisations that participated and contributed to making the day such a positive and enriching experience. We look forward to continuing these meaningful collaborations in the future to further support and empower our students here at Seymour College.
