From the Principal

I hope everyone managed to enjoy the last long weekend we will have for a while. It is sure to be a busy term with lots of fun events and learning to be had by all. Tomorrow, students and staff are heading to King's Park to participate in our school Athletics Day, Mrs Wicks has been working hard behind the scenes to make sure the day is a roaring success.
I will need to keep updating the important dates and events tab. One of the issues with having things on display so far in the future, is when things change sometimes not all communication is updated in a timely manner. Thanks to the parents who read the newsletter and politely email to clarify. It really helps as things are sometimes missed.
The carpark is starting to get a little bit busier and the drop off lane can sometimes start backing up to the road. If you need to get out of the car to support your children exit the car, please do so in a timely manner (60 seconds maximum). Please also know that if you are in a rush dropping your children off please feel free to park near the Belgrave Library and the students can use the crossing and enter via the stairs at the front of the school.
Just a reminder for families that hats are not required to be worn in Terms 2 and 3. Students are required to wear their hats when playing outside in Terms 1 and 4.

This is just a note that our wonderful Parents and Friends Committee are hosting our annual Mother's Day Stall on Thursday 8th of May. There will be a range of items on sale. Students are asked to bring their money in a named envelope. $10 per child should be more than enough.

If your child received treatment, you will receive a post-care report outlining the services provided. Thank you for your support and for helping us promote healthy smiles!
