Free Training

Job Ready is a three–day FREE, holistic program including accredited (First Aid and ‘White Card’) and non-accredited content preparing young people to enter the workforce.

The program, delivered in partnership with PCYC NSW and NSW Police Youth Command, is aimed at those who wish to enter a trade and are either in search of casual employment or who maybe in the process of leaving school or have just left school.

The program is delivered at a PCYC NSW club during school term hours.

Learners will receive nationally recognized Statements of Attainment for First Aid and White Card along with a Certificate of Attendance for the full–day Job Ready program.

This is the last course for the year, and has been advertised several times. If interested fill out thisEOI ASAP Comment end

A very important message to Year 11 and their parents.

I will no longer be using the HSC 2025 Careers, Transitions & Pathways Google Classroom. Instead, I have created two new Google Classrooms, and I encourage you to join one or both. An email with the details was sent to you last week, or you can use the codes provided below.

All things Employment 2025 Code: lmfuhla
All things Tertiary 2025Code: 33jbtdi

Moving forward, these Classrooms will be my primary platform for sharing important information with you.

To help you stay organised, I will schedule posts to appear at 8:40 am on Tuesdays. This will give you the opportunity to review new content during Coaching time and take any necessary actions.

Please note, as a result of this, you may receive multiple email notifications from me on Tuesday mornings. I recommend marking these emails as read and checking the Classroom directly for the latest updates.

If you are interested in Univesity or TAFE, and you have not already watched the videos that were posted this week, please click on the links below to access them.

What is Tertiary Education?

Do I need a Tertiary Education?

I created the The Tertiary Toolbox video series to support students and parents in navigating the often complex journey of investigating and applying to tertiary education. Through short (usually under 5 minutes) video content, The Tertiary Toolbox series endeavours to shed light on different academic pathways and program options, to demystify the intricacies of the application process, and provide guidance on navigating challenges such as financial aid and scholarship opportunities.

I will link the Videos as they are uploaded. As new content is recorded, the links will be added

Your Classroom is where I will share any upcoming events or courses that you may be interested in. Often these events have limited spaces available and require an EOI so it is important that you make sure you are reading notifications.

Parents are also able to join as Guardians. If you would like to join the Careers Classroom of your child, please email kcc-careers@ww.catholic.edu.au and state your child's name and year group and that you would like to join the Careers Classroom.

This will be the main platform used for our Careers notices and activities.
