News from School Council

The School Council met on Wed 30 October. Discussion items included:

Announcement of School Captain and Vice-captains for 2025 - congratulations to Amiya C (Captain), Marcus S and Cheryl C (Vice-captains)
Numeracy and literacy achievements during 2024, with student survey data showing a pattern of continual improvement over the past year in both areas
Engagement and wellbeing activities during Term 4, including final celebrations and farewells for the Class of 2024 prior to commencement of exams
German Exchange program costings and risk assessment
Finance and end of month reports for September
Facilities update including status of large building projects and smaller works
Teachers Appreciation Day - almost 40 letters received from families expressing appreciation for staff.
