Year 3
Hello from 3G
We ended Term 3, where we completed an exciting Integrated Studies project. Students tapped into their imaginations to create hybrid animals! Each student invented a brand-new creature, complete with unique features, a carefully selected habitat, and adaptations to help it survive in the wild. Their creativity was on full display during presentations, and they did a wonderful job sharing these incredible animals with their classmates.
In Maths we investigated everything about shapes and what features 3D shapes have. We built our very own 3D shape models in groups using match sticks and blue tac. This hands-on Maths activity was tricky and fun at the same time.
After a short break, we were off on our first-ever school camp to Phillip Island! The students had a blast participating in fun-packed activities, enjoying delicious meals, and, of course, making lifelong memories. The giant swing was the most thrilling (and a little scary!) activity, but the fun didn’t stop there. Burgers and chips were a definite camp highlight, and one of the meals that kept everyone fuelled for adventure.
With all the fun we’ve had, we’re feeling energized and ready to dive into a busy and exciting final term!
