Year 10 Advance Excursion (FareShare)

On Monday the 14th of October, our Year 10 Advance students from Kings Park volunteered their time at FareShare in Abbotsford. FareShare is an organisation that provides meals to people in need across the state of Victoria. 

The Year 10s and their teachers were able to use strong communication and teamwork skills to assist in the preparation of ingredients and packing of meals in readiness for distribution. 

From this experience, our students gained an immense appreciation for the work of volunteers within a community - donating their time and energy for the benefit of others.
