Student Action Team Update:  New Bell Songs, New Fun, and More!

Our Student Action Team has been hard at work bringing some exciting new changes and activities to our school! Recently, they chose a fresh line up of bell songs, adding a bit of extra fun to our day. The new tunes have been a big hit, and it's been great to see the students enjoying them! Our Grade 1/2 students also had a special role in the new playground! They gave it a careful inspection, sharing their thoughts and giving the final "thumbs up" for all to enjoy. In addition, students have been diving into our Student Attitude to School Surveys. They've been reviewing what we’re doing well and exploring ways we can keep making school an even better place. Lastly Student Action Team have started lunchtime activities like netball, cricket, and a variety of games are now available for everyone to join. A huge thank you to our students for all their efforts in making our school a fun and inclusive place.

Gr 5 & 6 Ne

On Tuesday our Grade 5/6 students were lucky enough to participate in the WheelTalk program. Luke and Peter were from Disability Sport and Recreation and they spoke to the children about living with a disability, having a go at everything and being happy and comfortable with who you are. The students then had the opportunity to play a game of Wheelchair basketball which they absolutely loved! The skills the children showed and the attitude to get in, have a go and enjoy the opportunity were absolutely fantastic. Both Peter and Luke commended the students on their behaviour and commented on what great kids we have and how much they enjoyed working with our students.
