Old Collegians
Welcoming our newest Life Members
It was with immense pleasure that our Mazenod Old Collegians’ Association (MOCA) recently welcomed its newest Life Members to MOCA. This occurred at Mazenod College’s Valedictory Dinner on Monday, 14th October. On this occasion, I welcomed our Graduating Class from 2024 into MOCA and reminded them that they will always be an integral part of our Mazenod College Community. We are always available to support and assist them throughout their lives. Our Valedictorians were reminded to keep us informed of changes to their personal details, such as, addresses, telephone numbers and emails. We are always very happy to have a telephone conversation with our Former students, a meeting together, or to receive their email, letter, etc. We are always very keen to hear about their lives, and about how things are going for them. Following this, Sean Sullivan, our MOCA President, presented each of our newest members with a MOCA tie. This occurred in a moving ceremony, whereby, our Graduating Class removed their Mazenod College tie, and their parent/carer assisted them by handing them their MOCA tie.
To add to this joyous occasion, it was so wonderful to see so many former students who attended our Valedictory Dinner as the Parent/Carer for our Valedictorians.
Deceased Old Boys Memorial Mass
Just a reminder to all our former students and their families, that our annual Mass for our Deceased Old Boys will be held on Friday, 8th November, at 7pm in the Mazenod College Chapel. You are all very welcome to attend this Mass. Our deceased former students are part of our Catholic Christian belief in the Communion of Saints, and we especially pray for their Souls at this Mass.
