Term 4:

Thursday 31st October - Division Cricket - Year 6 Boys and Year 5/6 Girls team (9.30-1.00pm)

Thursday 31st October - Twilight sports (1.30pm-4.30pm) 

Friday 1st November - Division Hot Shots Tennis & Yr 4 Bike Ed

Thursday 7th November - EMR Boys Netball (selected students)

Friday 8th November - Year 5 Bike Ed

Regional Athletics

Congratulations to our four students - Lily, Oscar, Nathan and Grace who progressed to the Regional Championships last Thursday. They all competed very well and did St James proud. 

Twilight Sports (House Sports)

You will have received an operoo regarding our Twilight/Afternoon Sports event. 

Operoo - Fixtures/Schedules

I receive a few emails throughout the term for different sporting events looking for fixtures, team lists etc so parents can go and watch their children.  Just thought I would put information here.  I always attach any fixtures/schedules I have before an event, some may be updated after the operoo has been sent out.  They are usually attached at the bottom of the page after the signatures section, you will just need to scroll down a bit and they will be there. I will always attach this information rather than print it off for the students for convenience for you.  Any further questions, don’t hesitate.

Spotlight on Past Students

I often hear from siblings within the school and past students about the achievements they are making on the sporting field since leaving SJV.  I think we as a community would love to hear these stories and achievements so if you have something you would like to share with us, I would love to pop it in the fortnightly newsletter.  Please send through to catherine.wall@sjvermont.catholic.edu.au
