Earn and Learn in Year 6

In Year 6, students are participating in the "Earn and Learn" program, a fun and interactive project that helps them develop real-world skills. They simulate a mini-economy where they earn money, pay taxes, and manage daily expenses like rent and insurance. Through this, students learn practical math, budgeting, and problem-solving, while taking on public service roles and running the most essential businesses, like travel agencies and gaming stores! This hands-on experience teaches them valuable life skills in a meaningful way, all while reinforcing key classroom concepts in an enjoyable and engaging format​. Who knew mathematics could be so much fun?
