3/4 CLASSROOM

This fortnight we have been looking at a new way to teach and learn maths. 

The grade 3/4  class have been learning about chance and probability through the ochre website. By using the Ochre program it will allow us to get the best content possible for our learning.

Yesterday we visited the community garden. We enjoyed doing a scavenger hunt looking for a variety of plants, insects, herbs, and flowers. We all tried a few new flavours like saltbush and native peppermint (there were a few mixed reviews!!)

In English we have been studying the book James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl. Each student has done an excellent job in creating an alternative ending to the book or a ‘twisted fairy tale’.

On Monday we did some work on Remembrance Day. We enjoyed learning about Remembrance day and creating some poppies and directed drawings to celebrate.
