F/1/2 CLASSROOM

The F/1/2 class have had an amazing two weeks of learning.

In Maths we have begun learning about different types of measurement. We are focusing on measuring length, mass (weight) and capacity. So far, the students have had the opportunity to show what they already know in regard to these areas. The next three and a half weeks will focus on extending each students ability.

In English, we have started writing fact files on animals. The students have enjoyed researching animals and writing information.

In Walker Learning, the F/1/2 students have enjoyed having the Transition Preps join us every other Friday.

Last Friday, the students started forming strong friendships as they investigated together.

The F/1/2 students also enjoyed teaching the Transition Prep students Church etiquette in the dramatic play space. There was also some creative use of design and technology skills, as students engaged in box construction.
