YEAR 10

Year 10 Key Information

  • Congratulations to our newly appointed Year 11 Mentors for 2025! Announced last week, they will formally begin their duties in Week 7 by welcoming the incoming Year 7 students for Bump Up Day. Well done to all our mentors; we look forward to seeing your leadership in action.

  • This week in SEL, our Year 10 students will continue a valued College tradition by writing welcome letters for our incoming 2025 Year 7 students. These letters, to be given in Week 7 on Bump Up Day, serve as a friendly welcome to help our new students feel part of the St Mary’s community.

  • Plans for the Year 10 End of Year Pastoral Day are well underway. Parents are asked to keep an eye out for the permission slip, which will be sent via email in the coming week. This event promises to be a memorable day for our students as they wrap up their Year 10 journey.

Whole of College Key Information

  • The 2025 College Fee Schedule was recently sent out to all families via an EdSmart Broadcast. If you did not receive this email or require further information, please contact the College Accounts Team: smw.accounts@cns.catholic.edu.au or
    (07) 4044 4200.

  • As we commence Week 6, it is important to speak with your child about their upcoming assessments to ensure they are setting themselves up for success well ahead of due dates.

  • We are fundraising this term in support St Vincent de Paul’s Christmas Food Hampers, which will be donated during our Christmas Liturgy on the last day of Term 4. The pastoral group that fills the most washing baskets (Hampers) for the Christmas Appeal will be rewarded with a class party! We appreciate families contributing to our fundraising initiative to support those in need at Christmas.
    Please Remember:
    • Donations must have an expiry date of at least January 2025.
    • Toys and gifts are not required as other organisations handle these contributions.

  • We continue to keep our Year 12 students in our thoughts and prayers as they head into their final week of exams. Keep up the great work!
