Principal's Report

Congratulations Lucas

Last week, Yang (Lucas) L. of 3MC, participated in the 2026 ATV Black Belt Selections & Autumn Open Taekwondo Competition. 

Competing in the Under 11 Years, 50–55 kg division. Lucas achieved an outstanding result and was awarded 1st Place (Gold Medal).

Semester 1 Reports

We will be providing student achievement reports for Semester 1 this year as usual. These reports will be made available via Compass in the last week of Term 2, on Wednesday 24th June. 

The reports will continue to provide important information about student learning. However, for the majority of classes, written comments may not be included due to industrial action taken earlier this term by teachers who are members of the Australian Education Union. This includes classroom teacher comments on student achievement and future learning goals as well as specialist teacher comments. 

As a result of this, the Parent / Teacher Interviews that were scheduled in the last week of Term 3 will be moved forward to Week 3 of Term 3 on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th July. At these interviews you will have an opportunity to discuss with your child’s teacher their progress and achievement in Semester 1, and areas for future learning and growth for Semester 2. 

Bookings for these interviews will be made available via Compass in the first week of Term 3. 

Upcoming Curriculum Days 

Please note that we have one more curriculum day scheduled this term. Students are not required to attend school on this day.

Final Assembly for Term 2

Our final assembly for Term 2 will be on the last day of term, Friday 26th June at 2pm in the gym. At this assembly, we will present the specialist student-of-the-term awards. As always, parents are more than welcome to attend.

End of Term

Term 2 is coming to an end soon. The last day of term is Friday 26th June. Please note the earlier finish time of 2:30pm. 

Term 3 starts on Monday 13th July.
