COLORES RUN 2026

What an outstanding achievement for our school, a total of $46,873 raised to go towards a new outdoor basketball court. We are super proud of the community for getting behind this fundraiser and saying YES to the experience based prizes over the toys.

While not all classes hit the $2,000 mark we think everyone deserves a pizza and chips lunch so these will be happening over the next week.

Special thanks to Nerida, Kylee and Luke J for agreeing to be slimed!

New Council member and new mum at Newlands with 3 kids starting here in 2026, Beatriz Reutter has written a recount of the event on Friday.

I have to confess that after only 4 months as part of the NPS community, with the welcome picnic, fiesta and movie night, I did had some high expectations for the event. But it did surpassed them all!!!!

The amazing energy, seamless organisation, the family support... And the kids running so colourful (and then me running so colourful)!!! So much fun in such a positive environment.

A heartfelt thankyou to the PFA that make this possible and to the school community that embrace it, even getting slimed!

I'm looking forward to seeing the new basketball court.

The problem now is, where to from here???  And the answer is clear, let's have fun and show our support at the working bee.
