Performing Arts Opportunities for 2025!
Join us for exciting opportunities in Performing Arts starting in Week 3! Whether you're interested in Irish Dancing, becoming a part of the Dance Troupe, or exploring your acting skills in Drama Club, we have something for everyone. Our experienced directors, Mr Adrian Walker and Mrs Katrina Ash, are eager to work with students across a range of age groups and skill levels. All students from Years 1 and above are encouraged to get involved.

Irish Dancing
- Commences: Week 3

- Participants: All students from Years 1 to Year 7 welcome
- Experience: No dance experience is required – beginners are welcome

Dance Troupe
- Commences: Week 3 – Auditions for all students from Year 5 and above

- Day/Time: Monday at 7:00am to 8:00am

Drama Club
- Commences: Week 3

- Participants: All students from Years 5 to Year 8

Wisdom Drama Performance
Play: ‘Wisdom’
Location: Drama Room, Clayfield College
As part of the Years 7 to 12 Drama program, students are encouraged to view a live performance by a contemporary Australian theatre company. This viewing will be highly beneficial for the students’ course of study. The performance will be in the Assembly Hall in the afternoon outside of school hours.

Welcome to Clayfield College Music 2025!
Our Music team here at Clayfield is prepared and looking forward to starting rehearsals in Week 2, commencing on Monday 3 February.
Ensemble directors will email students by the end of the week to advise which groups they are in. A complete Ensemble Rehearsal Schedule can be viewed by clicking on the link below.
All students are welcome to join our un-auditioned choirs and are invited to attend our first rehearsal in Week 2. Please see details of un-auditioned choirs and ages below:

New students in Years 7 to 9 who are interested in joining the auditioned choir, Ciao Bella, are invited to attend an audition on Friday 31 January at lunchtime in MU2. Ciao Bella rehearsals are held on Wednesdays in the Chapel from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
In 2025, we are starting an auditioned Boys' Choir, and auditions will be held on Tuesday 4 February at lunchtime in MU2. Please note rehearsal times are yet to be confirmed.
