A Wonderful Xmas Performance!
Last night, our students brought the festive spirit to TPS performing a variety of songs that filled the air with Christmas cheer. The evening was complemented by a hugely successful sausage sizzle, and many families enthusiastically participated in our raffle, hoping to win one of the fabulous Christmas hampers on offer.
Music Soiree
Our Summer Soiree today showcased a wonderful display of our students' talents! The audience enjoyed a variety of performances, including piano and electric guitar solos, as well as beautiful vocal performances—both solo and in duets.
Principal for a Day
Several of our students were given the opportunity of stepping into the role of Principal for a day. This important and exciting responsibility included making PA announcements, participating in yard duty, handling phone calls to and from classrooms, and assisting our Acting Principal, Ms. Wildermuth, with her daily tasks. Xmas Cheer for Scarlet
Scarlet was treated to a delightful surprise performance by our Grade 1 Toorak’s Got Talent semi-finalists! The talented group sang and danced their hearts out to a lively rendition of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, spreading festive cheer to the first aid room.
What a Camp!
Last week, the lucky Year 4 students went off to Camp Rumbug for three enjoyable days. Some of the highlights were the giant swing, zipline, mud run, team challenges, spacious cabins and delicious food!
The giant swing went up to 16 metres in the air and went over a big drop with bushes, plants and a fantastic view. The teachers were also encouraged to participate in this thrilling activity.
The mud run was epic. There was lots of rain before we went, so it had so many muddy puddles to jump in.
The students would like to thank Camp Rumbug and the teachers for an amazing time at camp. (Written by Lulu and Isabel 4A)
Gumbuya World
The Grade 5/6 students had an amazing day at Gumbuya World! They gained valuable knowledge about water safety, including how to call for help, perform rescues, navigate a rip, and other essential water-based skills. After the educational sessions, the students enjoyed a sensational time on the rides, sharing laughs and thrills with their classmates.
Grade 1 Hip Hop Incursion
Our Grade 1 students had an amazing time during their recent Hip Hop Incursion which was part of their stay late camp experience. They learned energetic dance moves, explored rhythm and coordination, and best of all got to dressup!
Thank You Parent Volunteers
We recently hosted a special morning tea to thank our wonderful parent volunteers for their incredible support throughout the year. Whether helping in classrooms or assisting on excursions, your contributions have made a big difference. We’re so grateful for your time and effort in enriching our school community!
Foodbank Tuna Drive
The Junior School Council with the support of the Dempsey family would like to thank all our families who contributed to the Foodbank tinned tuna drive. Foodbank operates as a free grocery store for people seeking asylum who live in our community. They support more than 1000 people with essential food, almost half of whom are children.
