Principal's News

All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

Good afternoon families,

I hope you all really enjoyed yesterday's Christmas Festival. It had a wonderful community feeling and the class items were fantastic. A huge thank you to the classroom teachers and LSO's for all the hard work they have done over the last 6 weeks in preparing the students for their time on stage.  Thank you so much to the Leadership for their coordination and tireless effort in getting this event together. Thank you to Lisa for organising the food vans and outside stalls. Thank you to Emma Summers and Mel Pace for teaching and working with the staff on our dance. We really loved doing this item and Emma and Mel were very patient. Thank you once again to all the families who supported all the acts on the PAC stage and in the garden and filled the hall all afternoon and evening.

Advent: A Season of Hope and Preparation

As we enter the season of Advent, we embrace a time of joyful anticipation and reflection in our Catholic community. Advent lasts for four weeks and prepares us for the joyful celebration of Christmas, reminding us of the hope and love that Jesus brings into our lives. Each week, we light a candle on the Advent wreath, symbolising hope, peace, joy, and love. During this special time, we encourage families to engage in prayer, acts of kindness, and reflection to deepen their faith and prepare their hearts for the coming of Christ. Together, let us journey through Advent with a spirit of joy and gratitude!
