Lights, Camera, Curtains! Meet the Cast of Our 2025 College Production!
The stage is set, and the curtain has risen on our 2025 College Production of Curtains! After an incredible audition process filled with talent, passion, and dedication, we’re thrilled to announce our cast. Congratulations to all our performers—whether you’ve snagged a principal role, an ensemble spot, or an understudy position, your hard work and courage have earned you a place in this exciting production.
Curtains is a dazzling whodunit musical full of humour, mystery, and showbiz sparkle, and this cast promises to bring it to life in spectacular fashion. We can’t wait to see this talented group shine on stage and behind the scenes as we embark on this creative journey together.
Rehearsals will begin in the new year, and we’ll keep you updated on our progress. Stay tuned as we prepare to bring the magic of Broadway to our school community!

Step Up Week - West Welcome Wagon
As part of Step-up Week, a group of students volunteered with West Welcome Wagon, a community group offering material aid to refugees and asylum seekers. They spent the day wrapping presents and sorting donations.

End of Year Reports
As we approach the end of another year at Good News Lutheran College, we wish to inform you that the end-of-year reports will be released towards the end of next week and will be accessible through Schoolbox.
The end-of-year report is an important summary of your child’s academic progress and achievements throughout the year. It reflects their learning journey, highlights areas of growth, and identifies opportunities for further development.
We encourage families to take some time to review the report with their child, celebrating successes and discussing goals for the future.
To access the reports, simply log in to your Schoolbox account. Should you have any issues with accessing your account or require support, please email schoolboxhelp@goodnews.vic.edu.au
If you have any questions or would like further clarification regarding your child’s progress, please do not hesitate to reach out to their teachers.

School Saving Bonus
Students who are receiving the Camps, Sports, and Excursions Fund (CSEF) in 2024 are also eligible for the School Saving Bonus. No application is required for students to receive this bonus. Funds have already been received for families eligible for the CSEF as of November 2024.
The School Saving Bonus is a one-time $400 support to help with 2025 education costs. This amount will be credited to your College account in 2025 after tuition fees for the year have been applied and will appear on your January family statement.
