Principal's Message

Thank you to all the parents and volunteers who attended the morning tea last week. We are privileged to have such a supportive parent community and this was further witnessed during the final Kindergarten Orientation. Parents new to our school always comment on how welcoming and inclusive our school is, and it is a lovely reminder of the culture within our community.

We are looking forward to meeting the new principal of Roselea and I am sure they will receive a warm welcome next year. On that note, it is with mixed emotions to inform the community that I will not be returning to Roselea next year as I have accepted a position at another school. While I will miss the staff, parents and students, it is a wonderful opportunity to experience life in a large school. I know that I leave the school in the hands of an amazing leadership team.

Thank you to the parents who have informed the school as to their plans for 2025, taking leave at the beginning of the year or not returning to the school. We are well underway with planning for next year and this information is vitally important. If you are yet to inform the school of your plans, please do so as soon as possible. Students will meet their new teacher and classes on Friday 7 February as our school swimming carnival is on the first day of school.

We have had a very busy term so far and look forward to the important events still to occur. I hope to see many of you attend the Presentation Day to celebrate the achievement of all our students this year.
