2025 Curriculum Contributions

Dear Parents/Carers/Guardians 

Williamstown Primary School would like to advise you of the voluntary financial contributions for 2025. Curriculum contribution letters are attached for Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3/4 and Grade 5/6.

Payments will be accepted through Compass from 28th January 2025 

The ongoing financial support of our families ensures that our school can offer the best possible education and support for our students. The school makes every effort to keep the cost of items purchased and activities at a minimum and sources these products from the most economical supplier possible. Your child will receive the curriculum consumables at the commencement of the 2025 school year - shared classroom supplies are purchased from the school official supplier throughout the year as required.  Our school website, williamstownps.vic.edu.au, has a link to the Department of Education  Parent Payment Policy document for your reference. 

We would appreciate receiving curriculum consumables or any other voluntary contributions families are going to make, to support the school, early in the 2025 school year, using our preferred payment method via the Compass portal - Course Confirmation/Payments.

Recurring Contributions (Payment Plan) arrangements are also available. Please click 'Pay by Instalments' on the payment page.

If you choose to pay by instalment, your credit card will be debited 25% of the total amount on the following dates: 12th February, 12th March, 23rd April and 21st May 2024.

DCS have moved!!

DCS have moved all school uniforms from their Laverton store into a brand new store in Altona. All uniforms are now available at the new store.

Notifying the school of your child’s absence 

Protecting the safety and well-being of children through the reporting and monitoring of absenteeism is the responsibility of both parents/carers and schools. 

Please remember to call the school on 9397 1248 or email at williamstown.ps@education.vic.gov.au or log your child’s child’s absence using our school’s IT platform Compass early in the morning if your child is going to be away or late for school so your child’s absence can be recorded correctly. 

For an extended absence (more than three days) please complete this form and return it to school at least three weeks before the absence is to commence.
