Year 5/6 Team News

Hello Year 5/6 families, 

Congratulations to our Willy Kids on a great year. What excitement is ahead of us as we swing into our final week of school! Here is a rundown of what Week 11 will look like. Please note that changes were made recently, as per Mat’s communication.

Monday: Picnic Day

Students are to bring the picnic items they agreed to provide for their groups. It is an important consideration that these items can not be heated or refrigerated. We will have our picnic in The Gallery due to the anticipated high temperatures.

Tuesday: Fun Day

The day starts with the Egg Drop competition which students will, no doubt, have reported to you at home. They must bring everything with them for the day. Then we will have a bit of downtime in the afternoon to mingle as a year level.

Wednesday: Buddy Ice Creams

Grades are scheduled to walk down to PG Sadler Reserve where the ice cream truck will be waiting for us to enjoy a treat and a play. Either before or after that visit, students will be gifting their buddies a bound copy of the picture they have written for them. KK presents are due at school on this day.

Thursday: Beach Day at Williamstown Surf Life Saving Club. 

Students will walk down to the club in the morning and enjoy a day of activities, including games on the sand and a swim in the pool. Please note that we are monitoring the anticipated high temperatures for the day and will make adjustments accordingly.

Friday: Last Day of School

We will hold our KK gift giving as well as the usual end-of-year administration. All Grade 5/6 students will be dismissed from the basketball court at 1:30pm.
