Year level update

The Year 6 excursion to Funfields

On Monday the 9th of December the year 6s went to funfields to celebrate their Graduation.

It was what its name implied, it was super fun. To begin the day we all hopped on a bus and travelled approximately just over an hour to arrive at our destination in Epping.

Prior to the graduation excursion we all watched an online safety briefing so we knew  the rules and regulations as soon as we arrived. We got led to our home base where we would keep our bags and check in with the teacher every hour or so and then we were off. We explored the park, all keen to go on each and every ride.

There was the alpine toboggan slide, blackbeard's fury (the swinging dragon ship), the voodoo (Full 360 loop), and obviously the water slides. There was the kraken racer, the very similar blackout and wipeout water slides, the splash down and of course the world record ones. We screamed on the supernova, the typhoon and the gravity wave. There was also a kids mystical kingdom, a huge heated wave pool and bumper boats. As well as the rides we were all allowed to bring up to $20 to spend on food.

The most popular items bought were hugely overpriced chips, huge ice creams and buckets of fairy floss.

After the day had  concluded we headed back to home base to catch the bus back to school. We met up at around quarter to 2 and hopped back onto the bus, eager to brag to our parents and siblings about how much fun we all had. Overall it was an epic day to remember our last year of primary school at Galilee.
