Principal's News

Dear Families and Friends of Trinity Primary School,

Next week will be the beginning of a new season in Australia and with Spring comes many signs of new life. Often when teacher's teach about the seasons, the idea of Spring and new life allows them to talk about change in our  lives, new beginnings and new starts. For all of us, including our children this creates opportunities to refresh, let go and find new energy. Each of us has our own favourite season and for some this might be Winter and for others Summer but each season has its own importance and each needs the other. As we look forward to this new season we pray together that our world and all its people can also see the opportunties of letting go of past troubles and looking forward to brighter and more peaceful days.

Our children have all been working extremely hard in their classes and now, five weeks into the term you may wish to revisit the goals they set when families met with teachers in week two. No doubt some of these goals will have already been reached whilst others may still be in progress. It is important for children to reflect on how much they have achieved and to think about what they need to do to achieve their goals by the end of the year.

School Closure Day

Friday School Closure Day so no classes for students. All staff will participate in a Professional Learning Day facilitated by staff from the Mary McKillop Centre and St Patrick;s Cathedral. We thank you for enabling us to participate in days such as this where our entire staff can work together.

Father's Day

On Sunday the 7th of September we will all celebrate our fathers and those special people who are father figures in our children's lives. To help celebrtate this day we will be having our own Father's Day Breakfast at Trinity with our usual Coffee Carty from Howzit  Brew and of course some delicious treats. As we will be in the midst of Footy Finals we also thought it might be nice for our Dads and Special people to wear a touch of Footy Colours along with our children.  Coffee and Tea will be ready from 8am and will keep flowing until 10am. Looking forward to seeing lots of you there.

Art Show

The countdown is on to Tuesday 16th September and we look forward to sharing the amazing work being created by our children.  Our official opening will begin at 3:30pm with a prayer and being from fr Trung.
