Design Technology

In Year 7, students are introduced to the skills of working with wood and experience the pleasure of completing a practical project. Students begin by appreciating the need for a safe environment, and then learn about hand tools, their use and the skills related to them. The students are also introduced to simple design and problem solving. They complete several small projects such as a spatula and a storage unit.
