Welcoming Our Year 7 2026 Students into the Sisterhood
We are delighted to share that the recent interviews for our incoming Year 7 2026 students were an absolute joy! Meeting these bright, curious, and kind-hearted young individuals was a truly uplifting experience for all staff involved. Their enthusiasm, thoughtful responses, and eagerness to begin their secondary school journey left a lasting impression. It is clear that these students are already embracing the values and spirit of our College, and we are confident they will thrive within our nurturing and empowering environment.
As we prepare to welcome these young ladies into our sisterhood, we are reminded of the beautiful words in 1 Thessalonians 5:11: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." This verse captures the heart of our mission — to create a community where every student is supported, inspired, and celebrated. We look forward with great excitement to walking alongside the Year 7 2026 cohort as they begin their journey with us in 2026, and we know they will enrich our College family in countless ways.
Best Wishes to Our Year 10 Students as Exams Begin & Subject Selections
As our Year 10 students enter their exam block, we want to take this opportunity to wish them the very best. This period marks an important milestone in their academic journey, and we are incredibly proud of the dedication, resilience, and growth they have shown throughout this semester. Our staff have worked closely with students to ensure they feel prepared and supported, providing a strong foundation of learning, revision strategies, and encouragement every step of the way. We are confident that their hard work will shine through in the weeks ahead.
While academic success is important, we also remind our students to take care of their mental and emotional wellbeing during this time. Maintaining a balanced approach to study, rest, and self-care is key. As Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds." May our Year 10s find confidence in their preparation, peace in the process, and pride in their efforts. You've got this!
Once our Year 10 students complete their exam block, they will then prepare for an exciting new chapter — beginning the journey of selecting their Year 11 and 12 subjects. This marks a significant step in shaping their future learning pathways and exploring their passions, strengths, and career aspirations. At our College, we understand the importance of this process and are committed to providing a supportive and well-informed experience for both students and parents. Through a combination of information sessions, career guidance, and individualised support, we aim to ensure each student is equipped to make confident, well-considered decisions.
We believe that collaboration between the school, students, and families is key to creating the most effective and personalised senior timetable. Our goal is to set every student up for success — academically, emotionally, and personally — as they begin their senior school journey. Please continue to monitor Compass notifications, as we will be sharing important upcoming dates and resources to guide families through the subject selection process. We look forward to partnering with you during this exciting and formative time.
