Room 12 Learning

One of the projects that Room 12 students have worked on this term is the Premier’s STEM Reading and Design Challenge. 

The intention is to challenge students to read about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). Students were tasked to read a book about one of the four themes: STEM, Nature in South Australia, Space and Renewable Energy. 

Year 5's were required to plan an invention, and Year 6's were required to inspire interest in science-related fields. 

Students created posters to showcase their learning from their selected book. Some of the posters have been selected and posted to the Premier’s STEM Reading and Design Challenge Team.
