An intersting article was in yesterday's Herald Sun about apps and websites schools use and how the data is being used by the companies of those apps.  One app was mentioned that I know some of our teachers use - Class Dojo.  Whilst our teachers use it for classroom incentives, I do not think the data would be of any benefit to the company and is certainlly nothing of a sensitive nature.  However, I will follow this up with the teachers that do use,  it to ensure that our students and the teachers are protecting any data entered into the app.

In week 11 of this term we will be putting the students Semester One reports into the nForma Parent Portal.  In preparation, it is important that you have gone into the portal and been able to navigate around it.  If you have an issue with passwords I am able to reset your password if required.

There will be no email to state the reports are in the portal.  We will however, send a push notification out through Operoo to alert you to the fact that they aer ready for you to see.
