Golf Lessons

Yesterday, a number of our Year 5 and 6 students participated in golf lessons with Fletcher Holz from Ballarat in their PE lessons. Unfortunately the weather was not ideal for, so the classes had to move into the gym for putting instead of driving.

The students will have another lesson next Monday in their PE classes.

Colac Division Soccer

A very big congratulations to all the boys who represented Sacred Heart in the Colac Division Soccer event, last Friday at Colac Central Reserve/Hockey Field. The boys made it to the semi-finals. The game ended up being a draw, which led the team to be in a ‘shoot out’. After shot for shot with Elliminyt (I have never been involved in something so intense), we were defeated by a goal. Coach Oaklee Balboni and I were so proud of the boys. Although it was a devastating way to go out of the competition, the boys held their heads up high and were gracious in defeat. It was a very valuable resilience lesson! A big thank you to David Coventry and the Colac Rovers for kindly lending us their soccer goals, to Oaklee Balboni for coaching the team and to Trinity students Finley Geary, Zaiden Finn, Dash Bannan and Roy Scott for umpiring on the day.
